Ir. Dr Mohd Shahreen Zainooreen B. Madros
Ir. Dr. Shahreen Madros graduated with First Class Honors degree from University of London in 1986, Doctorates in Engineering from University of Cambridge in 1989, and has over 30 years working experience in various capacities.
Dr Shahreen has been involved in the upstream Oil & Gas industry for more than 20 years. He has worked in a number of local and international Oil & Gas MNCs companies in Europe, Australia, and was based in Houston, USA for 2 years. He was involved in various stages of the upstream Oil & Gas industry; from Conceptual stage, Detailed design, Fabrication, and Installation of offshore facilities such as offshore platforms, pipelines, subsea templates, and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO). In the downstream sector, he was involved in the development of onshore oil storage facility, and the oil trading business. He was also an exco member of the Malaysia Oil & Gas Services Council, MOGSC.
In 2010, Dr Shahreen participated in the Economic Transformation Program (ETP), and was a lab member of the Oil, Gas and Energy group. Dr Shahreen joined PEMANDU in January 2011, and helped the setting up of Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC), a unit in the Prime Minister’s department overseeing the growth of Malaysian Oil & Gas industry services and manufacturing sector. Dr Shahreen served as the Executive Director at Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) until 1 February 2017, promoting Malaysia as a regional hub.
Dr Shahreen was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI) in March 2017 and served until March 2019. In MATRADE, Dr Shahreen has represented Malaysia in various international trade delegations, and in all industry sectors.
Dr Shahreen currently serves as an independent director in a public listed company in Oil & Gas industry, an Adjunct Professor in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Graduate School of Business, a council member at Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, and an advisor to the Malaysian IoT association. Dr Shahreen is also a certified professional coach and actively involved in advisory capacity to government agencies on industry development.
YBhg. Datuk Zainun Aishah Binti Ahmad
Datuk Zainun Aishah began her career with Malaysian Investment Development Authority, the Malaysian government’s principal agency for the promotion and coordination of investment development in the country. In her years of service at MIDA she was the Deputy Director-General for 11 years and Director-General for 9 years. Her drive and her enthusiasm for entrepreneurship will be a great motivation for the team as we move into a critical phase of economic recovery and embracing Industry 4.0.
Her intellectual rigour, strategic foresight and extensive international experience is a positive impetus to Pathway. Through her directorships with established brands such as Maybank, Shell, Berjaya Food, British American Tobacco and Boustead, Datuk Zainun’s understanding of public companies allows Pathway to further build on its key pillar of excelling in business advisory and industrialisation.
Datuk Zainun’s extensive knowledge and network in public and private sectors will also play an important role to boost Pathway’s vision to equip businesses to create their future sustainably. She believes governance is at the heart of any successful business. It is essential for companies to achieve its objectives and drive improvement, as well as maintain legal and ethical standing in the eyes of shareholders, regulators, and the wider community.
Her courageous character as an active and growth-oriented leader will play a valuable role for Pathway to further drive its ethos to uplift, support and empower women entrepreneurs to excel and drive change.


YBhg. Datuk Michael Kang
Datuk Michael Kang Hua Keong is the Immediate Past President of the SME Association of Malaysia, and the Independent Director of Asia Media Sdn Bhd.
He has been in ICT industry involving in hardware manufacturing, distribution and retail including software business, e-commerce and international trade business since 1985.
A keen promoter of Malaysia’s SME sector, Datuk Kang has worked tirelessly to develop the SME landscape and encourage business owners to transform their business to keep up with goal markets. He was a member of the Oversight Committee for Excise Duty under the Ministry of Finance, where he served to bridge the communication between SMEs and the authorities.
Amongst his current roles include the Director of SME Corp Malaysia, Council Member of Council of Federal Datuks Malaysia, member of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health under the Ministry of Human Resource (since 2013-2018), and member of the incubator program DRIVERS under the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (since 2013), China Asean SME Development Council Co-chair (since 2017), ASEAN SME Chapter Co-chair, BNM FX sub-committee (since 2017), Advisory Panel for Dong Jiao Zong Higher Learning Centre (2018-2022), Vice President of Machinery & Engineering Industries Federation (MEIF).
Mr. Raymond Devadass
Raymond is the Founder & CEO of Daythree Business Services. He specializes in providing strategic management direction, particularly in the field of digital transformation strategy and management.
He has guided several technology companies from ‘start-up’ to becoming leading technology players in the industry. Amongst his many key achievements, Raymond managed one of the largest healthcare informatics implementations in Malaysia and played key role in realizing the IT Outsourcing agenda of a major state government in Malaysia.
Having originated from a corporate finance background, Raymond has strong working and practical knowledge in finance, accounting and banking. He holds a Master of Business Administration majoring in Strategy & Planning. He is a Chartered Accountant, registered with CPA Australia and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Raymond is also the author of several articles and research papers. He was twice selected by peers in the industry as ‘Best Thought Leader’ in 2017 and once again in 2019 – an award reserved for recognizing leadership aimed at external positioning of the individual’s competencies in delivering value.
Raymond presently serves as President of Contact Centre Association of Malaysia. He also serves as Treasurer of Outsourcing Malaysia and chairs its annual flagship conference committee, Smart Sourcing Summit. He was recently appointed to serve as Councillor of PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia.
